For successful and smooth implementation of the services of Anganwadi Centres, own building is absolutely necessary. Keeping this requirement in view, till date 44809 Anganwadi buildings have been approved against the total approved Anganwadi Centres of 52474 in the state. Anganwadi buildings have been approved from various schemes like Centrally Sponsored Scheme, Additional Central Assistance Scheme, Finance Commission, Gram Utkarsh Yojana, BRGF, Coordination of MNREGA etc. At present, the construction cost of Anganwadi buildings is 6.45 lakhs.
