Senior Media Personnel Samman Nidhi Yojana has been implemented with the objective of providing honorarium to senior journalists of Chhattisgarh. Under the scheme, retired journalists above the age of 60 years are given honorarium of Rs.10,000 per month with 20 years of regular service and 10 years preferred.
